Greig was twice voted 'Scottish Player of the Year'. He joined Rangers in 1960 and played in three treble-winning sides. He captained them to a famous 3-2 European Cup Winners' Cup victory over Dynamo Moscow in 1972. Greig played a total of 753 times for the Glasgow club. He retired in 1978, and then was appointed as the club's manager. Today, he is still involved at the club in a public relations role.
